Ans. Vaginismus is a condition where the muscles that surrounds vagina, undergoes into involuntary spasm making entry of penis or finger or any other object almost impossible and extremely painful.

In a normal woman, the vaginal muscles are under voluntary control. But in vaginismus, these muscles undergo involuntary control.
